Yeah I know. I Just came back from a three hour ride. Did three laps around Richmond Park, pushed it a bit and felt much better. I'll do the 234 race at Hillingdon this saturday and we'll see. Perhaps I'm one of those who doesn't do well after lots of days off the bike. All in all not a great day for the Mozzies 2nd cats :( http://www.teammosquito.proboards98.com ... ?board=dyb

I would too but have a mtb ride planned already.

I expect George to be making waves at Palace with his strength and piloting skills.

Dr- maybe your loss of form could be down to wind resistance  , ain't none on the turbo mate.

That or its a nasty case of agoraphobia, try taking your garage walls with you on the next race.

  You could well be right Sir. Riding on your own for five months means your bunch skills are a bit ropey so you definitley end up using more energy than necessary. Aren't you sooo glad I started my blog Ian? Every time I have a bad one you're gonna know about. Unlike last year in at least ten races you didn't hear a dicky bird. So from now to October expect lots more winging. :(

Sylv don't be so lazy. Where's there sexy highlighting on the race results. Get editing now! :D :D

Sylv, i probably do have race mileage, but im back up at uni now with a different bike with no computer on it... so i couldnt tell you im affraid, LCS reckon 52 though, probly about right?

i thought i was much lower down than 23rd! i guess a lot of people didnt finish or got dropped near the end. and i thought you were in front of me and paul? and wheres kevin rynne on the results!? theres something not quite right me thinks...

the results arent even up on the surrey league site yet, so ill wait to see what they say...

toks, what happened then, i cant get on your blog thing, says i have to register then says i cant register at this time! im guessing it weren't great given the lack of mozzies anywhere near the top of the results, what happened to tim this week!?

anyone know where the pix are from sunday yet? since stu has a fantastic pic of him, looking like he's off the front, i want one too!!!

Kevin, I didn't know you were 3rd cat, don't let the baby get in the way too much - convince your better half that it'll help keep you sane and that as a father your health is very important for the future etc.

- yes 52 sounds about right 35.9km/h ~ 22.3mph for me
- results stop at 36 but I'm sure there were more finishers out of the 62 starters (Kevin was lucky he got the very last start number). Kevin did finish so did Ben from Evans.
- once again I have escaped the radars, don't know what I am doing wrong I put my number like everyone else. I think I was around 13th
- there was indeed lots of photographers but apart from D.Sackett they do a pretty bad job of advertising for themselves - no idea what their websites are. I was hoping to see some too of my early turns at the front
- my legs were still as bad this morning. I'm hoping it's mostly due to the mad wind, as last night I seemed to be flying effortlessly going South.
