Fast local 10 courses?

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Cheers Mike but I'm away for that one. I'll do the 25 in a month to give us the points though. :)

RTTC Courses

Postby mrP(Boonen)VT » Mon Apr 02, 2007 4:23 pm

If you thumb past all the boring bits, and the event calendar, and get to page 303-318, you'll see a summary of all the course numbers and abrief description of the roads they use and the area where the Headquarters are situated.

Don't forget that you have to fill in one of those entry form thingies with your lifetime achievements, so be sure to record somewhere what time you did, when you did it, what course it was on, distance and the winner and the winners time.

Easy huhhh?

As a relative oldtimer (late 50s-60s TTs) I can affirm that some of the rules seemed to have been generated by right w*****s. One stated that a rider "should not allow the name of his/her frame to appear in the press" (that evil demon advertising, you know). Working then on a cycling mag (Sporting Cyclist), we sometimes had worried riders asking us to ensure this, creating unnecessary work for the darkroom retouchers.
