Chertsey MOD Races

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Chertsey MOD Races

Postby Andrew G » Wed Mar 07, 2007 11:01 pm

For those of us who enjoyed racing at Chertsey MOD circuit last Sunday, and the week before, I've noticed there are 3 more there this year. I think I'll probably do them as I thought it was a nice circuit and easy to get to.

Sat 14/4
Sat 5/5
Sat 2/6

Each date also has a 3rds race and an E/1/2 for those more rapid.

Bounce...next Saturday is the 14th :) .

I'll be doing the 4ths, I think one or two other Agreeables as well. Think Paul is going in the 3rds.

No excuses you won't be lonely.

I'll be there, so will Rich V.

Adam and Stuart are going to trash the field at Hillingdon.

Richard and I will be riding over there if the weather's OK if you/anyone wants to join us?

I'll be coming along. I may cycle with you guys; but for the 4ths, its a 10.00 start, and it looks to be a 25 mile hike over there.

What time do you think you will leave !

Ring BC's member services, they're generally pretty helpful. I doubt you will be able to physically get your licence by saturday but you may be able to get them to tell you what your licence number will be, then with a bit of blagging on saturday (the Surrey League are generally pretty helpful and may accept the 'my licence is in the post' line) you should be able to get a race. You can always race on a day licence but it costs more.

5, maybe 6 ACC in the 4th cat race! Yeah, should be fun - Rich do one of your flyers off the front and we can all ride abrest and block the others while you TT to victory. :D

Pressure will be on you to perform in the 3rds Paul with all this support to cheer you on.

Addiscombe not a racing club, pah!

Thanks rich
So with a day license you don't have to be a member already?

Don't think you need to be a member but it costs something like £10 on top of the race entry fee so can make the day pretty pricey.
