Hillingdon this Saturday...

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Postby -Adam- » Wed Apr 11, 2007 4:46 pm

Stuart, Sylv (probably) and Myself are going to see what we can do in the 3/4th race at Hillingdon on Saturday. Race starts at 1.30 pm, which means a nice lay in!

Anyone else care to join us!?

Marek? Ill pay you to lead me out for the hopefully ineveitable sprint finish

Cheers,

Adam

hi Adam, I'll probably give it a go this wekend if I continue to finally recover from my throat infection, but wilth little in the way of training this past 2 weeks I don't expect to be lighting up the race with any stunning turns of speed,

Kieran,
Given how bad you've been feeling, do you really think racing is a good idea?
I've done silly things like that in the past and it has put me back even further.
I'm not saying don't, just think carefully.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the concern and I know what you mean, well I've done a little 'test' run on Tuesday (the so named 'col de la Fontaine' circuit) and will be doing another test run tonight (turbo) and see how I feel after it before committing to any racing. But I'm getting itchy feet, especially reading all of the exploits of the ACC racers! But I won't be doing a 400 miles in 4 days feat like yourself.

Well British Gas Repair Man hasn't turned up in time for me to make it to Hillingdon today, which might be a good thing as I'm still not feeling 100%.

Hope you guys have a good and successful race. Looking forward to Tuesday night.
