On eBay as well and you can make me an offer:

I have a set of handbuilts that are 1400g.

Ambrosio Crono F20 rims, DT Swiss 240s hubs (Shimano 10sp), DT Swiss Aerolite spokes 28 front and 32 rear, so strong as well, shod with Continental Competition vectran tubulars. Light use (less than 500 dry miles). They spin up very well and climb beautifully. I can supply brand new, never used DT Swiss skewers with the wheels if needed.

Without labour charges for building the cost of these wheels alone new would be around £500, cost of tubs new would be around £80. I am selling all this for £405 posted or delivered.

That's not 1400gm including the tubs is it?

Edit: forgive my ignorance on tub rims - 1.4kg has got to be bare wheels

It's 1400g for the raw wheel weight although Conti Comps aren't exactly heavy tyres.

The DT Swiss hubs are actually about 300 quid a set. Only reason I'm selling these is because I need cash to pump into my ever-expanding refurbishment budget.

Is the shimano free wheel body integral to the hub or could it be switched to a campag freewheel?

You could always use your eastern European 10-speed shifters (did you know Campag is now all made in Hungary, or further east?) with a Shimano 8-speed rear mech and cassette - they have exactly the same cable-pull. :P

The freehub body can be switched to Campag - I think that would cost around 40 quid but I might be able to get you the part for 25% off

Don't knock Croatia dudes, I'm half Croatian and it's a land of fit birds and stunning scenery, although I don't think I'd buy any bibshorts there

Anyway, this is meant to be a thread about me selling my wheels, cos if i don't I'll have to sell my wife

Back on topic - I am not selling these wheels. I've ridden them a couple of times this week and they are just too damn sweet to get rid of.
I'll sell my wife instead...
