Finished working in Bristol at 3pm yesterday.

Rode 95 miles to Birmingham arrived at 7.45

It was lovely coming over the Cotswolds with the wind behind.

53/12 almost all the way :P

On the outskirts of Birmingham saw the first rider go off in an evening 10

One commuter asked where I had come from, he said I was f*&%ing hardcore

I can confirm that I rode my longest ever commute on Thursday.

I left Addiscombe at 8.30am and arrived in Birmingham at 5pm

It was a long old slog of a ride there seemed to be into a headwind all the way, especially when during my ride I was called by work to be there 1 hour earlier

I managed to ride mostly on tiny country lanes which were beautiful, some of the villages were like postcards, I managed to link in a few cycle routes and waved to the various bikers.

So I had to up the pace a bit after that, I managed to ride between Banbury and Warwick in 1 hour flat.

200km's later I arrived to find I was early and there was even a shower for me to use before I started my day's work :D

200k, AND then a full days work!!!

How many miles have you covered this year so far George? With all your training, racing, and mamouth commutes it must put Paul's in the shade.

I don't have a speedo Andrew but this week I've ridden 315 miles :)

But maybe Paul has beaten after his epic to France?

It's funny the people I was working with in Birmingham thought the same. I'm just helping to reduce my CARBON FIBRE footprint

Blame it on the tired legs spreading to my brain Ian. You won't let me forget this.

Although shouldn't there be an apostrophe in that's, and a comma after both "hook" and "line". :D

(Dear God I hope there's no mistakes in this one).
