I can confirm that I rode my longest ever commute on Thursday.
I left Addiscombe at 8.30am and arrived in Birmingham at 5pm
It was a long old slog of a ride there seemed to be into a headwind all the way, especially when during my ride I was called by work to be there 1 hour earlier
I managed to ride mostly on tiny country lanes which were beautiful, some of the villages were like postcards, I managed to link in a few cycle routes and waved to the various bikers.
So I had to up the pace a bit after that, I managed to ride between Banbury and Warwick in 1 hour flat.
200km's later I arrived to find I was early and there was even a shower for me to use before I started my day's work
