tour of britain start - crystal palace!!

Postby kieran » Wed Apr 25, 2007 1:13 pm

This year's race has been granted a seventh day of racing and starts in Crystal Palace, London, on Sunday 9 September with the race's first ever prologue time trial. It will send competitors off at one-minute intervals to race over a one-lap, 2.5k route. Crystal Palace will host a variety of events for spectators during the morning including "Go Ride", a British cycling initiative for children, a Women's and a Juniors' Grand Prix and the TfL Grand Prix. There will also be a promotional village with sponsors exhibiting.

great we'll be able to test ourselves over the course before and afterwards!

Man that sucks, i really wanted it to be a finish in central london again so i could do the support race.

Hmm, i wonder if they'll use the prologue circuit instead?

Interesting, should be good though, ill probably be able to get out and see three stages. Bring it on!

'How can we stop London Dynamo taking it over? '

We just need to get out there and race. That's all they are doing. They seem to be doing well at getting their guys to race...

Sean you dirty pervert!

If its the same girl as did the Easter 3 Day i think i prefer her bike! A beautiful Time frame with stunning Bontrager Race xXx Lites (them carbon ones) and ironically Campag Record which just didnt want to work. She was having trouble with it all weekend!

Anyway, isn't it funny how Dynamo can get so many out for Palace, yet in the Surrey Leagues their 'force' is no where near as strong. Apart from the guy with long hair who attacks constantly, the rest of em that do show up aren't that great. Yet annoyingly they still top the League's team rankings by quite some margin!

Right im off for some hang-over busting McDonalds in the style of our beloved Belgian Champ!
