[quote]Oh, and the plan is to try out Little Chef for brekky this time.

Tamar, the Little Chef is closed, dead and buried - or at least it was when I looked last week.

methinks Tesco is a better option as it will be open, have hot food and is not far away :?:

Ride to Worthing - Route planning done. Likely time of start from Broadbridge Heath 11:00am. Lunch by the sea. Home in time for tea :!:

Snoop - Pick up with Jon sorted.
Sylv - Having got the instructions from Tamar we'll stick with my guesstimate. I'll pick you up at 5:15AM  (sorry  ).
I have room for one more if a lift is needed. Pick up in Croydon or between Selsdon and Croydon can be done easily.

Me thinks you've managed a more attractive car than me.

Stuff the supermarket - I'm having a bash at growing my own!!?? I've got two varieties of spuds on the go, an onion patch, tomatoes, cucumbers, purple peas, broad beans, raspberries, apples, plums and an assortment of herbs.

I wondered abour getting a lamb to cut the graaaaaaass. Mmmmm, lamb caserole.

Shop at Snoopco's - you know it makes sense.

As one of the lucky ones that got to ride can I say I BIG thanks to Tamar for the organisation and everybody else involved, pushers, marshals, timekeepers, Amy for the very welcome cup of tea at the end.

Marshals you did a fantastic job, must have been cold at the beginning, I couldn't feel my hands when I had finished, it took me several attempts to take my HRM strap off in the gents toilets afterwards

Fantastic effort by team Addiscombe, both on and off the track. Some great ride times and a tipperty top team of marshals, pointy people, county people, tea people, sign people, results by phoney people etc etc, led superbly by TC

Great to see a few new faces in the support team. New to the club and new to marshalling too.

Dominic - you're right it was darn cold, colder than Davy Jones' locker, arrr. Me fingers never warmed up until back at hQ after the race. And tee make matters worse, me pirate hat blew away. If only I hadn't left Polly the Parrot at home mebbe it would've been retrieved. Still got me Jolly Roger mind.

Cheers - Snoop

Hey ALL you marshals, it was great to see a friendly face at every twist and turn - no-one could have gone off-course - not even AJ if he'd ridden :!:

Apparently I lost about 22 seconds waving to you as I went past  but wouldn't haven't it any other way.

Special despatches to Nick Mann, whose encouragement was second to none - a real lift, cheers Nick :D

Big thanks to everyone involved.

Isn't Hutch a really great guy, prepared to mingle, talk and sign HIS book :?:

Sorry to have missed breakfast, but Worthing was calling - that's another post.

Well I'd like to thank all the riders, a great turn out and perfomance from the racers.

4 riders sub 1 hour, 1 just outside, and the other 2 with 1hr2min times. FANTASTIC, could almost throw a blanket over the lot of you, might have slowed you down though.

Next year up the team competition to minimum 6 riders and you'll walk it.

Hutch - short 51 minutes  . He just looks so powerful on the bike. Quite oddly he looks huge on the bike, but off the bike and in normal clothes he's average size. Does he wear faom padding under his skinsuit to make himself look big and mean?
