What can I say that hasnit already been said? A absolutely brilliant ride with evertything youd expect from a prpoer tour stage... A crash, mechanical problems (well gashed tyres) and riders abandoning. Must admit after leaving Tunbridge the pace went up and so did the gradient and for a moment (or several) wondered if I should have been on that train with Sean and Paul sipping a cold beer but dug in and ploughed on. on the next bit of dual carrageway looked doen at the computer, bloody hell 40mph! Anyway to cut a long storie short I was glad to see the Canterbury 28 miles to go sign and stayed glued to Richards wheel as Mr T tapped out a relentless 20 mph on the front, not bad going after 100 + miles!
thanks Paul for organising a brilliant ride and one that will become an ACC legend and will be talked about for years to come!
see you saturday
Paul
