I have a spare 16"5 Litespeed frame I wouldn't mind lending for a few months

Can you top that Grahame?

Thanks for all the kind offers but I know i will never get round to building the bike up.

Could I just put some cyclecross wheels on my fixed gear and use that?

I like camping but I'd rather have a bed and more importantly a decent sh**er and shower.

Sylvain sorted my entry.

I'm riding for Wales.

Rather than training I have been thinking more about fancy dress and what fancy dress would be straightforward to ride in.

I have some spare 45W alpine car speakers

Someone is always unhappy with what you are playing tho.

Maybe I might do a huge fleetwood Mac compilation.

Paul,

Dunno how tall you are but I have a single speed Stumpjumper sitting in my shed. The only thing it needs is a chain at the moment and I will probably get round to putting one on soon. It's a 19.5 inch frame. I am 6ft 1. If you want to borrow it to do this then you are more than welcome. In fact if we are the same size roughly I would be interested in trying your fixed as an exchange?

Just let me know.

Do you have to be any good/experienced to take part?

No experience required just enjoy the experience.
It's not to be taken too seriously.

There will most likely be one or two world class professional cross country racers there so we will just be window dressing!

Experience that might be useful:

-drinking beer then riding a bike
-jousting on a child's bike
-on bike audio systems
-racing naked
-racing on a rocky surface with a hangover

Not sure about accomodation yet - is anyone planning to stay for the geared Worlds at Ft William? It's gonna be massive. It's only 65 miles away (on the way back) and should start kicking off on the following Tuesday.

If staying the whole time would probably camp it.
