I had 15 miles Sean, my legs said it seemed a lot further though. Yeah don't know how you can count the laps. I think I'd read Palace was approx 1km circuit which would mean my 15 miles were 24km, so 24 laps. You guys did 2 (or 3) laps after us lapped mob were pulled, so 26/27 km/laps.

Nice pics Elliot, although I think I need to tighten the straps on my helmet, got it at a jaunty angle.

Oh no, sorry Sean I forgot last night. I meant to try and organise an ACC rendition of Happy Birthday at the start line. Have to wait 'til Saturday and Beer Circus now.

[quote] you'd carried on across the grass by the time you reached the edge of the park you'd have been in the prestigious and exclusive parish of Penge, SE London.

Shurely Mange...

Well done the lot of you.. we have had a few riders in the last couple of years slagging us off coz we "are a social club". Not, i hasten to add any of the mozzie boys.

[quote]Just to add a bit of irony in to the mix, towards the end of the race I had my wheel chopped at the bottom of that hill when I was lapping........another woman Rapha Condor rider.

Hmmmmmm... isn't it the responsibilty of the rider behind to make sure they are not half- wheeling?

re lap counting - I didn't do it whilst riding! I just counted the peaks on the graph in my downloaded stats.

Sean's HRM stats might show 60 laps then if there's a peak everytime he came across a Rapha girl

[quote="Andrew G"]Held on to this second bunch until 18 minutes in so fairly pleased with that. So long as I keep improving each week I'll be happy.
I managed 20mins with the E12's before they finally pensioned me off Andrew! Lets both try and beat the 30 minute mark next week :D
