Day licences

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

your friend won't get points on a day license though... as steve the shadow and i found out...

so maybe your friend should just bight the bullet and get a full license, then they'd be more inclined to race more...!

Not for a day license, but you do for a proper license.

Silver membership plus the license is about 60quid, sounds a lot i suppose but its a neccesity if your going to race often unfortunately!

Nope, the 60quid just gets you silver BC membership plus your racing licence... individual race fees are extra on top of all that!

Unless Carl meant the day licence fee (£10) - which you don't pay if Silver/Gold member.

BTW a bronze member only pays £5 day licence, and can ride any go-ride events. I think they get one "trial" ride as well?

I'm sure Sean (your friend that is) could swing it with a Bronze licence at the Palace - I wasn't strict last Tuesday as Commissaire.
