CTC Bike Insurance

Just a quick plug for the CTC Cycle Cover bike insurance if you need any, or are renewing.

Although they can seem a bit expensive the cover is very good and pretty comprehensive. Also I phoned them today to check my cover for Italy and the normal insurance includes 90 days worldwide. This covers during transit and accidental damage while abroad. It even covers the bike if camping if it's kept either under the canvas or locked outside the tent. So long as it's locked up theft is also covered from anywhere.

Having had it for 3 years now you also pick up a NCB and the premium reduces each year.

Worth considering especially if you're planning a few trips.

Cheers,

Andrew.

Good point. I better check if my cover extends to France.

I have CTC insurance.
I think it also covers the bikes in a panel van so long as there is no access to the back from the cab.

Worth considering if you want to do a road trip.
