For anyone who's heard about Majorca and is considering maybe going next year - the video link below will show you why we go.

http://www.dailymotion.com/acc-monty/vi ... nding-2007

Never mind the first bit (slow main road out of Valdemossa) skip to 11.03 which is the descent off the Coll de Espores and the third one, Col de sa Creu, which more accuratlely show the kind of riding out there.

Check out the number of other riders you see in just a five minute clip

Excellent camera skills from the skipper - shame about his occasionally awfull taste in 80's power ballads, I haven't heard Whitesnake in 20 years :-)

Watch that and tell me you don't wanna go!

Compared to Dartmoor at the weekend it looks like an entirely different sport and it was only a month ago - Take me back there PLEASE!!!

Ah and the music started so good...

Huw, its a good job you don't write for ProCycling! They'd have your guts for garters cycling with no helmet!

I'll make it my personal mission to keep you in the loop for next year Paul.

I'm being purely selfish though - it would be great to have another 'engine room' for the flat roads accross the middle of the island

That takes me back - the video to last February and the soundtrack to some time before I took my A levels.

Did anyone else see how full Huw's pockets are? Even allowing for three tubes, that's an awful lot of cake.
