Hillingdon Saturday...?

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Hillingdon Saturday...?

Postby -Adam- » Wed May 16, 2007 5:14 pm

Just wondered if anyone fancied joining me on Saturday at hillingdon?

3/4s off at 16:30, and theres a E/1/2/3 before that if you fancy it as well :?

Its quite a late one i know, buggers me up for the Cup final. But the bike comes first im affraid!

Stu, its only a 3/4 and will probably be only about an hour long, so just sit in and wait for the finish. You'll be fine! Im racing the next day too, though not until 7pm so i guess its easy for me :?

Would be good to see you out Keiran, maybe ill lead you out in the finish

Matt, ive an idea...

I'll lead you out in the finish. Well, sort of anyway. Have you ever heard of a sleeper? Basically you sit on my wheel, as if im leading you out, to stop anyone else being on it. Like, for example, Hugo Robins. The guy who just beat me at Easter (as he's likely to be there on saturday). Then I beat him as he has to come around two of us, and hopefully you either finish just behind me or take me on for the win... either way you'll get at least 8 points

Then robert is your mothers brother!

Adam,

shouldn't that be sweeper as in:

[quote]Cipo's new American team-mate David Clinger also had a key role today as sweeper, protecting Cipollini's wheel. "It was hard today; I was getting chopped by everyone who was fighting for position behind him," explained the Woodland Hills, CA native who now lives in Andorra
