Waste of a day for me. Punctured after 8 miles. Got a lift back to the HQ and drove home in the piddling down rain.

Lesson of the day: ditch the Vittoria tyres. Thats punctures both times I have raced on them.

Yes I'll back that one up Vittoria tyres are a load of rubbish.

No good in the wet

Too many punctures

Very tight to squeeze over the rims

Me too - in fact mine was a tub (Vittoria by coincidence!!) that didn't puncture, but felt it bumping along as I headed back past the HQ at around 30 miles.

On close inspection, the threads had split and the tube was pushing up the tread. Might have lasted to the end, but given the awful weather, didn't feel inclined to chance it. :cry:
