Will,
I'll happily take your bike up with me in the car and give you a lift some/most of the way home.

So Sylv, did you confirm th 18th July with the Beasts?

Let me know so that I can book a day off while I'm in a rare "organised" frame of mind.

Cheers Mr Belly.

Have booked day off so can help out with Si.

Haven't seen you around for a while - are you still doing the Rocky thing?

RMA are not operationg this year - they are researching new destinations.

I'm still going out to guide, though. Carl (a Kiwi that I guided with the first year) has his own company, and I'm helping him for a few weeks at the end of June - start of July. It's a hard life.

Cool! So Carl's back in the USA? I though he set up a guiding company out in New Zealand...

Thanks Tim.

I haven't been yet, but planning to go and reccie the ride from central London in view of going next week. Really enjoying Palace on Tuesdays but the call of the wild is too strong! (maybe I'll do both).

It's 25km from Victoria and the route goes past Eastway, which was 14km for me and used to take 45 min at easy pace.

So I'm hoping it won't be taking more than 1h15, which means it should be ok with leaving work at 5.45pm on the dot, getting there at 7 for a 7.30 start.

And then hope you can hook a lift for part of the way back!

His company is based in NZ running tours there for UK/US customers, but in the NZ winter he runs a couple of trips to Colorado for the Kiwis.

Sylv.

I'll be there next week, and yes you can have a lift back to Bromleyland if you don't mind waiting/helping with course deconstruction.

Apparently there's a train from Liverpool Street goes to within 3 miles of Hainault that you are allowed bikes on even in rush hour. The details ore on the London Cycle Sport forum.

Well that's a long old trek, I make it 23.8km/14.8miles from London Bridge station - so for me that's gonna be 37 miles in the day on top of the race, even getting a lift back to Bromley - definitely not going to do it every week.

BUMP. It's in two and a half weeks now.

Could the people who offered help please confirm here or by PM, and also let me know if they would need transport to/from the venue.

As mentioned before Grahame and I will try organise lifts. I shall be taking the afternoon off and could leave Croydon to pick up people anytime from 3pm to 5.30pm (at the very latest).

I have 9 hopefuly volunteers including myself so it would be great if we could get a handful more, thanks.
