There's no substitute for experience, so I think I can settle this one. My broken crank tally is Campag 0, Shimano 0, Stronglight 2.

Now, who wants to leap to the defence of the French? :lol:

The cranks/chanring (integrated) on my fixed wheel bike are Stronglight. Not very light, very strong looking. I don't think you'd snap them very easily as they're track ones and are like mini girders. Cue snapped crank on the next Evening 10 :roll: .
