Road Racers TT: Mosquito V ACC

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

It is worth giving it a go.

I was below par for my team last year but it was interesting none the less.

Have we got any teams in for this.

I won't be able to take part but we had 3 teams last year and it would be good to get some in.

I had originally planned to be away for this, but can now make it. Spoke to Paul H and with George that's the three of us just missing a fourth member. John is away. Any offers?

I fancied this (obviously in a B/C/D/Z team) but realised it's the day before the London-Canterbury sportive, and not being called Tunnell I'm not doing both.

I rode out last year with Rob R-E and Robbie Dread to offer some support and plan to do the same this time. If anybody fancies joining me we did the CR to the cafe, and then headed over from there. It makes for a nice long steady ride and you get a cafe stop and another break when supporting. Worked out to about 100 miles but that included a full CR with T&off (which I wouldn't do this time).

Marek, Paul.R, Max and some old old bloke affectionately known as Ade Merckx amongst some of his non cycling buddies  .You guys have got a very strong team if we can stay within a minute of you time we'd have done well. Here some tips for the big day!

1. Don't ride in the drops or the superman position it gets boring apparently.
2. Try and attack each other constantly
3. Remember only one of you needs to finish
4. 2nd cats are only allowed to start pulling with 500 metres to go
5. Only one drinks bottle is allowed between the whole team.
