Dragon Ride lift needed

Postby Richard (Apples) » Wed Jun 06, 2007 9:45 am

I find myself in a bit of a fix. Mrs A has just told me that she needs the car on the weekend of the Dragon Ride :(

Can anyone driving up Saturday help me out with a lift ?

Willing to share petrol money and driving.

We (Mrs A and I) are heading out west - as far as Gloucestershire - on the Saturday. We could drop you somewhere you could get a train to Bridgend pretty quickly from. Then on the Sunday there would be a lift all the way back.

I'm sure you'll get a better and more salubrious offer, but this one is there for you if you need it.

I'm staying in Marllew guest house on Sat night and hadn't looked into transport yet, so I think I'll be driving - room for one person and a bike in the car - let me know Richard.

Looks like you've got a few offers there Apples, but if you are still stuck
Aodan and I are going down. We will be staying in the burbs of Bridgend at Ewenny. We haven't set the schedule in stone yet, but it'll involve driving there on Saturday and returning on Sunday.

Let us know if you're still need a lift.

I have a similar dilema, that I have not got accomodation or transport sorted yet so will probably end up driving / camping?

I am happy to offer a lift if you need one, or blag a lift if someone else has space.

Marlew is in Porthcrawl (see post http://www.addiscombe.org/members/phpBB ... 73&start=0), a few others are there too.

Haven't checked how far from the start / your place it is.
