Well the plan had been to travel out to the flat paradise known as Dunsfold 8) .... unfortunately as with much of this season work got in the way and come 6.15 the choice was palace or nothing. I made the wrong choice :wink:

Corners and climbs don't suit me at the best of times and after half a lap I'd confirmed that if anything I'd got worse :twisted:

Caught Toks at one point when he'd been shelled out by the E12s and suggested he could still catch them causing him to accelerate away into the distance. Tim Harris gave me a drag round for the last few laps and by the end I was starting to figure out the correct lines and feel a bit more comfortable in the corners (thanks Tim). Still a long way to go though.:roll:

Top ride by Stu and by Jon and George in the big race.

well had some time to look at my computer download,

average heart rate was 179bpm, basically I was at 90% max throughout the race, no wonder I thought it felt hard. We did about 25 laps and it was a lap every 2 min approx.

Great to see you all yesterday. All the plaudits must go to Stu, George "The Smiling Assasin" and Jon - fantastic effort guys. And for anyone else who finished in the bunch - chapeau! both races (E12 and 3/4s) were bloody fast. Steve mate you're nearly there son don't give up! Andrew just keep plugging away mate. 30mins next week? :wink:
