Adam u big girls blouse..whats wrong with 7am?
Oh yeah i fogot your a bloody student...an you lot never see light of day before midday do ya! :D

..come later if u want, but when ur walking up hills with 50,000 other riders you'll know why its that early.

Andrew, once you join the official route its marshalled all the way, many roads closed so its a nice'n'free. They'll be quite a few out at that time anyhow so its impossible to get lost.......now getting back ...thats a different question.....map anyone? :?

see you there Graham, Andrew and any others.

cheers
yohan

Mike and I are leaving, hopefully, at 6 am on the dot from Clapham on the official ride and we are planning on making good time through London. So maybe you guys will run into us. I will be resplendent in ACC yellow.

I know from the TT and CR's Adam has got pace, but I am disappointed at this poor show of dedication  I will be up 4:45 am after a long day at Wembley Stadium.

I would be very keen to do the CBC Sunday but is there only one fast group? Only joined the club recently and just graduated into the CR 18s.
7 am start is fine for me, so I'm guessing 6-7 hours there and back including whelks and crab sticks on the beach?

Dombo, don't worry there tend to be a few CBC during the course of a year. Are you around on the 23rd? That's when John C's taking the Super 15s and I think another group or 2 were planning on going as well.

Yep, I am going Saturday and it's going to be awesome. They are great live. Pity about there being a golden circle, despite being a massive fan I can't be arsed to queue from the break of dawn.

Unless someone turns up who knows the way, then a combination of pointing towards and following signs to London and/or Gatwick/Redhill, and anwhere else enroute that rings a bell. :D

I think between us we've done at least 6 runs so we'll probably recognise the way (and various roads/villages/towns as we stumble upon them.

The unexpected adds an air of excitement doesn't it?

[quote="marco"]there seems to be a rule for brighton rides - PVT does it, i do it, i think everyone in the club must have got it from John Smith!
go down on the right hand side of the a23
come back on the left

I thought we always went down on the left of the A23 and came back on the left of the A23 :?
