Hi folks, err I mean aarrrr me hearties!

A reminder that the SCCU 50 takes place on July 1st.

We need to provide 2 helpers to support this event. If you are able to spare a few hours please can you either contact myself or 1st Lady of the sea Tamar.

I'm sure we'll have a good number of entrants to this event as we ramp up the campaign to return the Rawson Shield to its rightful home :wink: so you'll have plenty of friendly faces to cheer on (just think of the feeling of satisfaction that'll give ye).

S'OK folks - you already do yer bit. Please see below a note from a previous thread on this subject... P'raps we need to tighten up the rule and ask all members, regardless of whether they race or not - to contribute...? Seems a bit draconian I know but hey - we go through this same rigmarole EVERY time we need help.

We still need two volunteers - hey y'all why don't a couple of folk offer to break their marshalling duck??

Sean - any chance you could do a note out to those who don't routinely access the forum but have email (assuming you can tell who they be..?). Volunteers should contact Tamar or me and I'll pass 'em on.

I'm hoping to pull together a list of ACC events and people who've already done the decent thing so I can "encourage" the others to do their bit :twisted:

Cap'n where is this bountiful race held?
I can help out (again) but i am reluctant to travel feckin miles at an ungodly hour ,as i am well in defecit of beauty sleep. If its the local Horsham course then i am your man- if its some hell-hole like the A1.... you can shove it :wink:

Ian - whilst I am extremely grateful for your offer I have to say it would be a real disappointment if it had to be you (as you say....AGAIN!!). I take yer point about beauty sleep and all but come on the rest of you - stick yer hands up!!

Let's see if we can't give Mr M a lie in for once eh wot...?

Come on y'all

Ian "regular as clockwork" (in the hands up to help out dept!) has yet again stepped forward. We still need another brave volunteer. I hear that ACC are lined up for doing canteen duties for this one so come on, don't be shy. Get yer pinny on and who knows, ye might even swipe a sneaky slice o cake while no one's looking :shock:

July 1st - 1st rider off @ 6am so you get most of the day to yourself - give something back to the club that gives you sooooo much.

Its almost 2 am im reading the forum even though im off to Brighton tomorrow (TODAY), I would love to Join the great MR I Munnery but in return for sharing my good self with Ian, could I invite myself round for some grub before or after Ian as I know you do a mean pasta or two.
