Michael Secrest already holds the World Record for 12hr and 24hr on Indoor Tracks, set Jun 15th and 16th this year:
12 hour = 283.407 24hr = 535.868
oh and he is 54years old!!
Also congrats to George and all ACC at the Smithfield Crit - looks like it was a great night. George managed to get on the podium and stand with my idol = I would not have been able to control myself - Robert Elms is a God.

If you don't know you basically fit a HUGE gear and get towed behind a car with a fairing on the back. When up to speed and you have the gear turning quickly you release the tow cord and pedal like hell to try and stay in the draught behind the fairing.
Anyone fancy having a go.

Oh complete BL rubbish, and I'm no fan of Rovers, just liked the design and it has to have the V8 in it.
Shame it was BL made which means finding one that still survives is like looking for hen's teeth. Paper thin bodywork, shoddy electrics, and dodgy build quality...makes you proud to be British.

According to the Daily Mail article, he should have broken every RTTC record going 
....and Hutch would be slow by comparison , so what happened.......errrrr
For goodness sake, don't let George get his hands on one of those rings - he doesn't know how to work his left hand gear lever and he'd still go up Ditchling in the big ring
