I think that Monty was planning something heading towards Tunbridge Wells. I'll drop him a note.

I think Paul T mentioned somewhere (can't find the thread) that he knew someone who had a pub(?) that would be open for us (only?) called the Half Way House in Tonbridge, apparently near a good hill for watching.

A lot of question marks I know and this may all have gone out the window, but with a bit of luck Paul will see this and fill in the gaps, or correct my ramblings that I may have dreamt up.

Or Tunbridge Wells sounds like a good trip, if it ever stops raining.

Caravane due through Tonbridge at 11:10, followed by the race at 12:55. Timings for Tunbridge Wells are ten minutes after those. Between the two are the KOM climb out of Tonbridge for watching the action, and shortly afterwards is the feed zone for blagging freebies off the soigneurs.

My preference would be to find a bar with a big screen and a sympathetic manager and watch it on TV - does anyone know such a place?

Ride to Tonbridge...

See the caravane...

See the 'fatsest drug addicts in the world' in action for the secon, yes second day running...

Get pissed while watching the finish on TV...

Ride (wobble) home...

Paul T, oh master Guru, please show me the way!

I did indeed. Meet CSS at 8:30 for ride to Halway House Pub near Tonbridge. Big screen, food and beer
