See the Tour de France in comfort!

One of the world's great sporting spectacles takes place on RICS' doorstep this summer.

For the first time Le Tour de France will begin in London with the opening time trial stage on Saturday 7 July.

Starting in Whitehall the best riders in the world will loop round Parliament square - part of an 8 kilometre course.

To celebrate, RICS will be opening the doors of 12 Great George Street - please note that the time trial race itself does not start until 1500.

The following hospitality will be available on the day:

Front doors open 1200 through to 1800.

(RICS Venues may consider opening for lunch in the restaurant if any enquiries for a large enough number were received but we would require a confirmed booking)

Catering is only available in the bar, which is open from 1200-1730 last orders (food orders close at 1700).

Menu
Alcoholic beverages; Tea; Coffee available in Flasks; Soup of the day; Hot Panini; Tuna melt; Bacon, tomato and mozzarella melt; Cheese and onion melt; Assorted Sandwiches; Filled Jacket potatoes

Other catering
There will be a private booking for the RICS cycle club (invited by the President although he will not be in attendance) in the PDR. This is still to be confirmed both for content and numbers.

Audio Visual
There will be two plasma screens in the bar showing the TV Coverage. There should also be a plasma screen in the PDR for the cycle club.

The roof terrace will also be available to visit, although there will be no clear view of the activities from that location

For anyone else wanting to get down with the action - PM me for my mobile number and arrange to come and chat with me (somewhere on the course - not being told until 8 am Sat!!) to help relieve the boredom. I will be in official costume and will offer the best spectator rights to ACC members.
