A Transport for London spokesman has been quoted as saying the 2010 tour will start in London again. This time using the Olympic Village to accomodate the teams as a trial run for the Olympics

Its interesting. It was really the 'millions of' fans that made this weekend special. Also, I think that the performances were amazing.

Cancarella is an absolute monster. When he beat that time by 15 seconds, everyone near me went silent in absolute awe !! Once they realised what he had done, they just clapped. I have never seen that happen at a sporting event..

Then when Mckewen appeared from nowheer to win in Canterbury. I could not understand how he coule possibly have done that..

Top notch sport !!

according to his column in the guardian, cavendish managed to pull back from over 5 mins down to just 2:45 -- which is surprising given the speed of the finish -- although he complains that the cars wouldn't get out of the way, he does also imply there was some drafting advantage...
