Obviously TDF organisers/commissaires have something against Vino - pretty unsporting to pull all the cars out, when others had "tows" back to the bunch.

He must have put in a massive effort to limit his loss to 1:19, riding the last 20k's almost as fast as the bunch in to the finish. Chapeau.

Regarding 'Pippo' Pozzato, i told him to go for stage 5, and he said ok. I told him exaactly how to do it, use Rabobank to set the pace, hide incospicuously then pounce at the vey last moment. He actually txt me last night to say thanks for the masterplan
