Toks' blog is officially over.

[quote]Ok dudes this is my last post- I'm officially closing my training blog down. Its supposed to be a training blog but lately I haven't really been training. No particular reason really I've just been enjoying my non cycling life. I've got more responsibilities at work, I'm seeing more of my son ;-)and I'm not that motivated to ride hard.

Never mind I've learnt a few hard lessons. In my own case being an average 3rd cat is long way from being an average 2nd cat. I need to work a lot harder which in truth I never really did - no worries I'll be back. So I just wanna say thanks if you've been reading this blog for the last six months and finally big up to everyone I mentioned in the blog. Take care and ride safely Toks "Ade Merckx" Adesanya

Shame, I really enjoyed reading it. :(
A very entertaining blog .

The blog was great but can understand why you had enough of it.

You not going to give up training are you? You were talking about getting a PowerTap a few weeks ago.

Dont grow old and die.

hey Toks I'm sure everyone here would say you’d even be welcome back into ACC if you fancy a more leisurely approach to cycling

I also hear Stu has a backlog of fifty entries to be posted on his blog shortly

Can understand why you stopped the blog Toks as it must have become a pain keep updating it, but was a good read.

When I've seen you lately you haven't seemed quite as bubbly on the bike as normal. Lose the competition for a while and just enjoy cycling for enjoyment again. You've got a lot of us off our arses and having a go at racing so well done.

  thanks for all the love guys. I haven't given up on being a competitive rider! In truth I actually put more pressure on myself last year to make 2nd cat. And yes it is kinda ironic joining another club which is supposedly dedicated to racing that I've decided to ease off a touch. In truth Mosquito's have been great and not once was there any pressure to race. All you ACC racers keep going I've really enjoyed reading and occassionally watching the success. Hope to see ya'll soon at a race or a club run. Life is great at the moment I can work from home and watch the Tour 8) 8)
