Thanks for all those who turned up to help build the course, marshal, and (especially) dismantle the course afterwards.

Special thanks go to those who shouted encouragement at me as I rode repeatedly round the course (it would be misleading to say that I raced). At times, moving from agreeable encourager to agreeable encourager, I felt like a fat Bradley Wiggins  :D

Yes big thanks to all who turned up, once again it went flawlessly

I got a bit worried at lunchtime after having posted that the weather looked good, as I got soaked riding back home, then the drive to Hainault was in the rain for the first half.

But once there it was bone dry and we enjoyed sitting outside in the setting sun once the course was set up

I did the timing and enjoyed giving a bit of banter to the riders as they were coming into the finish area

Paul T had to walk from the tube station and arrived just in time to be waving the checkered flag!

Well done to Sylv for organising and giving me a lift home, and Grahame for flying the Addiscombe flag.

Turned out to be a nice evening for lurking in the woods.
