Fluked a dry(ish) slot between heavy showers on Satruday evening for my first time out on the P881/25 course on the A3 (2 laps of the 10 course plus an extra bit). The conditions seemed reasonable so was a bit disappointed to get off to a slow start and end up with 1:00:47.

It seems I was 'lucky' to choose this event over the 10 moved from Bently to the Aldermaston course which apparently was cancelled due to flooding.

I think anyone who managed to stay dry this weekend did well.

Another good time in the bag Steve, although I can see how you are dissapointed. Once you've gone under the hour, just outside it seems like a bad place to be.

Yes, bizarrely several riders went off course, including some from the promoting club!
