Seems to have prompted Kryptonite to go on the defensive

Not surprising, given that the boltcroppers made their looks seem no more effective than tying your bike up with a ribbon*
* but to be fair to them every other brand of lock (including my fave Abus) seemed to be equally incapable of withstanding the might of 42" boltcroppers
