ACC Road Race - Saturday October 27th 2007

I might be able to help - depends on the exact date as on a number of occasions in xxx/xxx either my wife or I will be away for a number of days. I think we should invite Dennis Sacket to take photos for this race, especially if it's at Hillingdon - his pics there are consistently brilliant.

Don't know if he would charge a fee, or would be happy enough with the likely sales of many pics to all the vain ACCers, but could find out.

If someone has a digital video camera then they could record it and then you can take stills from that quite easily I would have thought with it being digital. My one is broken, so cannot bring.

Ok the date for the ACC members only Road Race is October 27th at Hillingdon So if your not exactly flying now or your injured you can plan to peak at the end of October. If this clashes with any major ACC events I hope someone will let me know. Cheers Toks

Hmmm

Not only does this proposed date almost clash with ACC cyclo cross, it clashes with my birthday too. I found out today that I'll be in Paris for the weekend so having previously been voted onto the committee, I'm voting myself off. Ooooh, get me it's just like Big Brother . Sorry bout that.

This does of course create a great opportunity for someone (preferrably someone who has yet to volunteer their services this year) to step up and help Toks make this happen.

Any takers....(sound of tumbleweed rolling ever so sloooooowly by)....?

Toks, although i will hopefully be out of my sling, and probably back on a bike by then. My 'team' reckon my shoulder will not return to full strength for six months. So all ill be doing around this time is 'rididng around the block', i didn't tell the physio that my block was 60miles round though

Anyway, the point is ill be available to help for this. Judging, singing on, whatever. I can probably do stuff before. But as im gonna be one armed for the next three to four weeks, bear in mind i can't write or drive. But help i will as best i can!
