Jack & Jill Thanks

Postby Snoop Doug » Thu Jul 26, 2007 4:58 pm

Hi folks

Not seen the results from this yet. Just wanted to say a big thank you to the Addiscombe Super Team for putting on the event and an even bigger thank you to my Jill, aka (capn) Jack (Sparrow) aka Lance's Thong aka Carole H!

For those who don't know we undertook a bit of role reversal for this one. Carole made a smashing, swash buckling Jack and I made a very hopeless Jill. Whilst I found the dress quite comfortable although not very aero, the plaits got in the way and I defo don't like the taste of lippy! I won't be doing another TT in a dress (until next time  ), and thank goodness Carole was willing to do a turn (or three) on the front, or I reckon we'd still be out there!

I'm goin' back tee me pirate ways, arrrr

Yes congrats and thanks to Jon, Tim, and Joyce for organising, counting us out, and counting us back in again on all the 10s.

Carole and Snoop looked mighty fine as they set off and embraced the fun attitude of the Evening 10s.

It was mentioned on Tuesday that it would be nice to finish the season on the Presidents 10 with a good fun event like Marco's ninja outing. How about a prize for the best outfit / eccentric mode of transport to compete?

Yes, Cap'n Sparrow and Jill were definitely the stars of the race. Excellent pigtails. And a very swashbuckling sword. No eyepatch though?
