Sutton Town Centre Crit

A place to put your results for posterity and to tell everyone what might have been!

The London Dynamo rider with the bad leg who has that huge Seven was racing in the morning in Kent at the 3/4 race in Kenardington. It was quite a hard race so fair play on him racing in the afternoon as well, unless he has a twin brother, which I doubt.

Good result Stevie B, sounds like you were not just Shadowing, you were actually doing some work as well, good stuff.

Cheers

Marek...

That Seven was big, the head tube was about the size of my seat tube.

He'd been saving himself in the Crit as he sucked the young gun (16!) from De Vers wheel the whole way round.

Sure Snoop, let me know if you want the originals. I'm sure I have more of Pearson riders too.

Well done Andrew and Steve. Not an easy course - but then as has been said, the more technical it is, paradoxically the less likely are crashes !

Andrew, Shame your race wasn't a national series one - you would've got points just for finishing - that was the case for the women anyway :)

Should do as it was a BC event (used their entry form).

I clocked the glasses on that bloke and thought they'd be horrible to cycle in, no peripheral vision at all. Perfect for a tight town crit then. :)

This got a mention (sort of) as far away as Balham, in the local rag. Unfortunately, the printed version directed readers to the web-site - which says it's this Sunday.

So, Steve, if you feel like riding round Sutton this weekend you won't win any points or prizes, but you might receive the adoration of the good citizens of Balham and Tooting.
