I do still have a black singulator. It is fitted with the spring that makes it push the chain up (don't have the other spring anymore). You could be unlucky so that the chain length is just the wrong side and there is not enough tension before the singulator touches the chainstay, but most likely not.

Yep, wherever you put it on the chain line it stays - 'cause the chain travels to the sprocket at the same speed as it travels away from it :wink:

Obviously the closer you place it to the hub the more tension you get
