For Goodness Shakes

Postby Kasper » Sun Aug 05, 2007 5:11 pm

Those For Goodness Shakes that were supposed to be nutritionally perfect after race drink/meal substitutes are half price at Tesco's.

I think i read something about chocolate milk being one of the most effective protein replacements available after a detailed scientific test of course in this months cycling plus. Also if it's good enough for Steve Bayliss Britains number 1 Iron Man its good enough for me. I used to go to school with his brother Marc and he was well known for being very fit and into his "sports".

i could only manage 12 in my rucksack any more and my wheels would buckle!!!!

Get down there quick to bag a bargain. the banana flavour is my favourite followed by the chocolate. I'd give the vanilla one a miss as the flavour wasn't very strong (I thought).

Great club run yesterday guys!!

I like the vanilla one :) I like them all actually. I always buy one on the way home from racing at the Palace on a Tuesday. It gets the protein in within that important half hour window :D

Milk [the goodness of]

Postby Kasper » Sun Aug 12, 2007 5:51 pm

Yes well spotted Bob the article seems to confirm what some people have known for a while that milk hydrates the body better over a longer period of time than most sports drinks.
