Paul,

I am torn between the training group ride and the 19/20 group. I think that fitness wise I am between these 2 groups.

So - Need some stats about the training ride. Being honest (really honest), what sort of pace are you gunning for. Training group these days averages about 22/23 with lots of attacks and stuff. Is this the kind of ride you are aiming at ?

Also - How long do you think it will be (I guess approx 70 miles down there + 45 miles back)

At the moment, I reckon that I might survive the trip down but would need to arrange for a coffin to be waiting for my burial at sea when I arrive. On reflection - I guess its Huw's group for me....

Ta,

Graham.

Shurely the wrong thread-awful pun that!

I am tempted with Huw- but they may have to wait for me on the hills tho.

The average will be around 20mph and there are no attacks like the training group on the club run. George will disappear up the hills, but waits for me at the top. Distance is about right. The ride back will be steady.
