ECCA 12

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

I find that steak and kidney pie is the best - takes a while out to sit down and eat it, but makes the day worthwhile. Mrs T gets out the table and chairs and we have a nice meal - a few new potatoes as well.

(ask Colin Davies..)

There is also a handy drive through McDonalds on the finishing circuit, which obviates the need to carry food around with you.

 Thats why you have never achieved 240!! Colin, Richard and I who have achieved that milestone, only stopped for the call of nature which over 12hrs is actually very few and far between, if at all. So Tamar, eat, drink and keep those peddles turning

I realised when I finished my first 100 last year that I was not fit enough to do this. One year on and nothing's changed, except my age. Good luck to you all.

Can I echo the sentiments of Tel and others, very best of luck to you all. I thought I was mad entering the 100 - turns out this is what real madness is all about...

Good Luck - Snoop

Probably get an age related record then.

THX Rich. I've got it now.

The course has only changed slightly to the last time I rode (when ACC won the ECCA Team award in 2002 - I have the medal to prove it).

The 3rd circuit doesn't do that horrible leg to Royston and back each time thank goodness, cutting back through Fowlmere, and I don't know the finishing circuit (but at least it still goes past McDonalds  ) as it used to be on the other side of the M11.
