Mark Leedham temporarily out of action

Postby Mark Leedham » Thu Aug 16, 2007 2:27 pm

I crashed on Saturday descending into Brighton from Ditchling Beacon. William helped me get to the station and back home.
St Helier diagnosed a broken left arm and a broken right wrist.
Should be mended in about 4-6 weeks, so see you all in October.

I shall still organise the Addiscombe Track Championships on Saturday Sept 1 at 14:00, but will not be able to ride. See you at Herne Hill.

Bad luck big fella - must've been a high-speed crash indeed to break you. Hope you get back riding as soon as possible

All the best, and I though Adam had it bad with one injured arm

See you at Herne Hill, fingers crossed the cote d'azure isn't under water this year!

Bad luck Mark.

I saw you taking a break ( no pun intended) at the bottom on the way up.

How the hell did you get to the station?

Get well soon.

Ian and Joanna.

Hope you heal well Mark - I know it's easy saying that when you are fully valid, but 4-6 weeks doesn't seem so bad considering the injuries.

Good idea Alan then Mark will get a chance to give us a blow by blow account of the accident and show off the bruises etc

A "Drink Mark better" event would be great, we can then all sign the plaster cast (if they still use them nowadays)

Mark, I hope that this hasn't stopped you doing too much but there again watching telly and being fed food sounds a good idea...

That sounds nasty - I'm sorry to hear about your accident Mark.

And just when you were going well on the track. Keep your chin up and speedy recovery.
You'll be back in time to go for it at Calshot.
