MTB training ride sunday 26th

Postby stu23 » Thu Aug 23, 2007 2:08 pm

as discussed on other thread, there shall be a training ride for mtbs on sunday morning.

Meeting at Sainsburys at Selsdon at 10am

http://www.croydon.gov.uk/maps/95676

moving through into kingswood, kenley, coulsdon, top of merstham, somewhere near godstone, over caterham bypass thingy (presumin bridge is now fixed), marden park, woldingham, back to sunny selsdon

will hopefully be quick ride, 2.5/3hrs with a few mins break for some breccy, hence hope to carry a good pace all the way round.

Any objections/better suggestions??

Links to a map and summary of ride for me but seeing as we rode together things like speed and elevation are the the same. Was a pretty good ride, but I really need to sort out my DH skills. If you fancy doing a shorter version on Wednesday evening let me know and we'll arrange to meet up.

Guys,
Thanks for showing me some superb trails! Rob, love the GPS mapping - I gotta get me one of those!

Stu, guess I took a wrong turn in that last wooded section. Popped out on the road, you guys were nowhere to be seen, so I waited a few minutes before trundling off home. Sorry I wasted your time looking for me!

I'll be keen for another ride next weekend, unless the sprog decides to make an appearance in the meantime.

Cheers
Mike
