about racing;

are there any local series i could go n sneak in a race before buggering back off to uni??

does addiscombe race mtbs at all these days? - obviously i'm sh1t and id probly show the club up :lol: but when i join is there a "secret racing scene" i dont know about??

thanks for the reccomendations toks....never really considered cross before---gernally im a strict mtber.

would i be alright racing cross on my xc bike? if i would i might be interested in popping along to a race or two just to see what its like

xc-cross country

is there any half decent descending in cyclo-x, cos i certainly aint guna win on the climbs :lol: :lol: :lol:

Ok forgive my ignorance I'm the least techy person in the club. How are xc bikes different from regular mt bikes?

toks, xc bike is what i suppose you would call a general MTB ie go uphills well and downhills okish, hardtails with 4 in forks on the front = classic xc bike. hope that sort of helps :lol:

off at the end of september. studying up in aberystwyth so yeah i suppose you could say theres a bit of riding up there :wink:

got a mate whos really into racing mtbs so im planning to tag along with him and race up in wales, i just wanted something down here for xmas easter and next year when i finish uni
