Some people need to take Paul a little less seriously if they think he would stop for a McDs with Tamar hot on his heels
Either that or he's completely barking
Toks - the NP for the day was 218w, average was slightly lower at 208w which was 14w up on last year. I took/take the view that your power will inevitably tail off after 12 hours so started a bit quicker than I finished but still not sure I've got it right. Looking for a big improvement for my 4th 12-hour.
Snoop, next year this event will be the national champs so well worth a go. You don't have to do a stupid mileage, there were many people out who finished in the '00s and of all the events you can do the 12-hour is by far the most sociable and well supported whilst you're riding. It hurts a bit for the next couple of days though
Ride of the day in my view was Grant Pyke (Kingston Pheonix) who slogged round for 12 hours on a bl***y trike.
