Riding home from work last night was an absolute disaster:
1. Heading towards Sutton at about 35mph (behand a transit) hit a small bump and the panier bag flew off, bounced along the road and was nearly run over. Discovered the securing clip had snapped.
2. From Pearsons, a plastic carrier bag got caught up in the rear mech. Could not move pedals forwards or back. Dismantled rear mech at roadside to remove offending bag. Reassembled said mech, missing a washer....spotted it on the path and went through the whole process again
3. Just got to Croydon and "twang" a spoke broke in the rear wheel. Released the brake, but was still rubbing, but managed to get home - extra resistance training
All this in 15 miles
