You want DVDs?

Postby George » Thu Sep 06, 2007 11:35 am

Hi I'm back home now sitting back and recovering from my broken neck.

I'm doing well and just have to keep my neck brace on for another 6 or 7 weeks.

Now I'm gonna get bored at home and wondered if anyone has any cycling DVD's that I could borrow to help pass the time?

I'll get them back to you after watching but they would be much appreciated.

cheers George

George,

I've got a whole bundle of DVDs and some videos as well that you're welcome to borrow.

Various races, documentaries, films.

PM me your phone number and I'll give you a call tonight, should be able to drop them round tonight at some point.

Hi John yes still got an old dusty vcr that works

John I got exactly the same turbo as you, its really smooth and realistic

I've been on it for a couple of 30 min sessions so far, but I'm taking it easy with my neck plus its a bit harder breathing with a stiff neck brace on.

Although its very comfortable to ride with no pain or discomfort at all.

It would be great to meet up and get those video's off you, also I can give you back your TT helmet.

hi george

i get my dvds by post from http://www.lovefilm.com - they have a load of cycling dvds. slightly difficult to find as there is not a cycling section. but they are there: TDF and Giros, etc

Unforunately may favourite -- a Sunday in Hell seems to be out of stock
http://www.lovefilm.com/product/74971-P ... -Hell.html

but this one is quite a good alternative (Giro 74 documentary)
http://www.lovefilm.com/product/75904-G ... -Tate.html

this sounds like a sales pitch - anyway my point was going to be you can get a month's free trial.

I've got some videos of early to mid 90's Tours de France. They are mostly recorded on long play, though. If your old VCR can cope with them, you are welcome to them.

George, as I was saying to Sean elsewhere this afternoon, it might be wiser to let you have ***** *** ********IV and ***** *****'s **** XIII when you're feeling a little more limber
