Maybe price? Look at the way cheap system wheels and carbon frames have taken over the market. Groupsets still cost loads. Economy of scale for large manufacturters using their own groupsets

Obviously there's SRAM, but there is a rumour another well known component manufacturer will come out with a groupset next year. I don't know who. My money would be on Specialized or perhaps Trek/Bontrager though.

Unless they offer something new though, whats the point?

LOL, like Raleigh they'd be made in China.

Or, like Campagnolo, in Romania.

mavic wireless is pants. I bought their wireless computer with cadence monitor and whilst it looked good in the box, and the skewr thing is pretty cool, it disnae work!!! I tried three of 'em before butlers agreed that yes, mavic wireless is sh*te. I'm glad they agreed but disappointed it took 'em three attempts....

Anyhoo, I've drifted a bit here, never mind, got that of me chest.

Guru Paul saw this coming...

From Interbike "FSA may not have launched its much-anticipated complete road groups yet, but Sampson Sports and internally geared hub powerhouse Sturmey-Archer have already beat them to the punch at this year's show"
