Kent Cyclosportive

Well, here are the results from the Circuit of Kent.

http://www.kentcyclosportive.co.uk/140result.htm

Pretty pleased to come 2nd, the guy who won is a friend of mine who managed to outgun me on the final climb. I was with him at the bottom of the climb but he had 29 on the back and just spun up whereas I was grinding on a 23.

Carl came in 10th place so all in all pretty good ACC results with two in the top 10.

Cheers

Did those two blokes at the bottom of the list really take over fifteen hours, or is it a typo?

They probably got home before they realised they still had their timing chips. I wonder if they got their coasters for finishing?

Yes George, the form does seem to be coming through, have a new regime that I am following which seems to be paying off. You should try it, it involves a healthy diet and some exercise:

1 bottle of red wine every night a rare steak and fat cut chipsBut don't just keep to healthy eating need to do some exercise as well, so I do 10 press ups every morning and 10 sit ups before I go to bed, if I remember after the wine.

I recommend you all follow this routine in the build up to the ACC road race.

Cheers

You have stolen my training plan  only the exercise bit is a bit much.

Well done.

Marek this is the best diet and I'm sticking to at the moment
[quote] I would recommend fish and chips at least three times a week interspersed with fried Mars bars. This will help you get your fish oils and also your sugar levels will be maintained at an adequate level.

I would also recommend a healthy dose of alcohol to help numb the pain and to make sure you don't lose your smile. I would recommend to start on 4 tins of special brew and work your way up to a 6 pack, i hear a six pack is all the rage, the girls go wild apparently.
