Redmon 2-Up 14 October.

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Paul, I'm contemplating the Hillingdon CC 25 on that day, but if I'm satisfied with the 25 I do at Bentley this Saturday then I can be available for the Redmon 2-up instead if you don't get any better offers. Our matching Dolans would look pretty good 8) .

Hmm, i could probably manage it, but would be no where near top form

How long is it? Im assuming its flat too, which would mean minimal pulling on handlebars!

Apart from the hills, it is mainly flat

There is quite a lump around half way, where you turn left almost 180 degrees at the base of the climb, and would require a big effort to get going again. I would be careful if you're not 100%.

Save it for next year Adam. It is a 15 .4 mile TT where you tow a vet around the course, he is not allowed to pass until 200 meters from the finish.

As such if you were towing PVT you would basically have to ride as hard as you can for 15 miles with no let up. The course starts with the 5 miles up to the turn on the club 10 course. You then turn left up a long drag of a road to take you to Rusper. Left and then a slight downhill blast, left in Newdigate along a rolling bit with a kick up at the end, before left again on to a slight drag to the finish. Starts where the club 10s start, finishes just before the car park we use at the top of Inholms Lane.

It's a great event though so put in your diary for next year.

Well we've entered. Unfortunately last year there was a rather rapid family pairing ahead of us. Bit of a cheat as their vet was only in his 50's.

Tried to get the father and son prize when Mark was riding (pretty rapid) but as it was on "standard" we were beaten by some old codger

Go for it Andrew
