Addiscombe hillclimb

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

C'mon guys, we managed 9 Acc'ers last year, without Paragon filling up the start sheet!

Not that they're not ver welcome of course, so long as the remember they have to carry 6 European size bricks up with them...

Where is everyone!?

Sorry Sylv, ill be making my own way there as its just of my usual little training run... Be up for a ride after, but maybe not to Horsham, especially if you'll abandon me and jump into your car!

Can we not get more people out than this? What has happened to the 20-30 riders that like to torture each other up Box Hill most Saturdays?

For those keen for a caffeine shot, a short ride back to the top of Box Hill afterwards is a clear option or even a direct trip to the regular cafe afterwards is not completely out of contention. Or a stop-off in Coulsdon. Or - well there are lots of options.....

If you plan to ride, let's do the right thing and let Jon know in advance of your interest so he can rework the start sheet before Saturday. It's hardly worth the bother of running the event given the number of committed entrants at the moment.

Apart from the Alps crew, whos away?

Not that many, six?

Whos Injured?

George... and???

He'll probably be there anyway

So whats everyone else's excuse?

122 guys (and girls) out on a CR barely a month ago and just 9, no 6 down to ride the Hill Climb. Erm, hello!? Its not like we're short of members is it, I mean if 50 turned up at Ranmore, im sure another 50 would turn up at CSS...

Tony's right, its a bit of an insult to Jon for organising this that only 6 people can be 'bothered'.

There is no reason to fear hill climbs, just turn up, give it a go and enjoy it. Well, you may not enjoy it actually at the time, but you will when you finish!

C'mon guys, show some support...

Ni Hao.

Having just returned from a krazy week abroad where I must've put on a stone's worth of dim sum related weight I thought "I'm in worse shape than usual, I'll give this a miss". However, I just can't resist the call tee arms and so, the good ship Tsingtao with Capt Fatboy on board say yes. Come on Ranmore - sho me what ya got. Jon - I'm in thanks, the lanterne rouge is once again safe.

I am soooooo gonna regret this.

Snoop, glad yer onboard.

You can park a bit closer than that - there's a layby opposite the church by the "RE" in RANMORE.

Carole, I'm sure it is not too late from comments Jon has made. I'm sure he'll be updating the post later. If not, if you get over to Ranmore for 10:00am tomorrow, I'll stake my reputation on the fact that you'll get to ride. Best though to confirm in advance with him.

Folks - is anyone planning to ride from CSS either to watch or spectate? I'd suggest people wanting to compete need to leave about 08:45 (09:00 at a bit of a push).

Currently. I'm planning to drive out. I may even be giving someone a lift. Can't think who that might be..... :?

I would certainly win the race down Ranmore with what I've been eating in the last two days
